There are two different kinds of nuts in the package: one for CNC 3018 series and one for Genmitsu 4030PROVer XL. Insert the corresponding nuts from the side into the groove of the aluminum plates of your milling/engraving machine.
Step 2
Adjust the position of the four nuts as shown in the picture. Both sides of the two nuts must be separated from each other by an aluminum plate groove.
Step 3
Remove the right-angle iron slider with a screwdriver.
Step 4
Align the four counterbores (locating bores) of the vise with the four nuts in the groove of the aluminum plate respectively.
Step 5
Insert the four T-slot screws vertically into the corresponding mounting holes and screw them hand-tight into the nuts below.
Step 6
Tighten the four T-slot screws with hexagon wrench to fix the vise on the aluminum plate.
Step 7
Put the right-angled iron slide back in place and locate the scale position you need, then tighten the iron slider with a screwdriver.
Step 8
Rotate the handle of the vise, put the engraving material between the clamping area of its two jaws and fix it by turning the knob clockwise. Now you can enjoy making!
